Hello! My name is Kassey Weaver and I am a proud member of The Joy of Travel River Cruise Specialist team! I have had the pleasure of working at The Joy of Travel since 2012 and haven't looked back. I had the honor of being recognized as one of the top travel professionals in the country under 40 and in 2023 joined the top 1% of US travel agents as a million-dollar producer. I did not reach these goals by accident. Not only do I travel extensively to bring you first-hand knowledge, but I am constantly learning about new products, ships and itineraries. I am excited to use my expertise to help choose the perfect itinerary for you and show you why river cruising is my favorite way to travel.
My first river cruise experience was in 2018 when Joy and I escorted 78 clients on a magical Christmas Market cruise on the Rhine. I was hooked! What could be better than unpacking once and waking up in a fascinating new place each day, relaxing with a glass of local wine in the lounge or recounting the highlights of the day with your fellow passengers over a delicious dinner?
Since then, I have had the opportunity to take many more river cruises, including our private Avalon charter in 2022. Yes, we filled the entire ship with our clients and enjoyed an unforgettable week in Holland and Belgium during Tulip Time! However, to date, my personal favorite itinerary hs been Paris to Normandy. It’s the perfect blend of cities and small towns, incredible food and wine, romance and enough Viking and WWII history to keep Mr. Weaver entertained!
