Amy Lebert

Hello!  My name is Amy Lebert and I am a Travel Advisor with The Joy of Travel. My love of travel began when I was 11 years old on a family trip to Mazatlán, Mexico. More than 40 years later, that trip still finds its way into conversations whenever my siblings and I get together.  On that trip I fell in love with the people, culture, and food, and I've returned to Mexico many times since. It was also where I first discovered my love for the ocean - a connection that still draws me to the water whenever I'm nearby.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to travel throughout the United States as well as Ireland, Italy, Costa Rica, Spain, and Canada. My favorite destination so far has been Italy. The history, culture, breathtaking scenery, and incredible cuisine combined to create an unforgettable experience. No matter where I travel, I love immersing myself in local cultures and discovering the foods that make each destination unique.

Raised in the beautiful Black Hills of SD, I developed a lifelong appreciation for nature, adventure, and exploration. Today, my husband, Culley, our daughter, Emma, and I call Sioux Falls home. I have proudly volunteered with Junior Achievement for over 15 years and believe in giving back to future generations by inspiring them to live with integrity and to take care of their planet so its beauty can be enjoyed by generations to come.

Because I believe the most valuable things we collect in life are experiences, not possessions, I left Corporate America to pursue a career helping others create unforgettable memories with the people they love.  As your travel advisor, my goal is to truly understand what matters most to you and design a journey that reflects your interests, dreams, and travel style.
